The annual full day of FREEDOM festivities is back!

On Saturday, June 27th we will hold our biggest event of the year!

Starting at 10am and continuing until 3pm, Envision Williamston will host their Freedom Market in the Williamston Municipal Center Auditorium for all to enjoy! From crafts to gourmet sweets, this market has something for everyone! πŸŽ‰

From 1pm to 1:45pm, line up will take place at Town Square Center for the Annual Patriotic Golf Cart Parade! The parade itself will begin at 2pm! 🎊

Then at 3pm, registration will begin for Envision Williamston's Bobbers on Big Creek Race! At 4pm, the race for some amazing prizes will begin in Mineral Spring Park. Prizes will be given out to race winners once the race is complete! πŸ’¦

To add to the fun, we will also have our annual Classic Car Cruise-In, the Kids Fun Zone, a variety of delicious food vendors, and Fire Truck Rides beginning at 4pm and from 5pm to 7pm, the Palmetto Business Association will be offering Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides. 🀩

And of course, you know we can't forget the rockin' lineup we have for this year's Freedom Festival Concert! 🎀

We will have opener, Elizabeth Jo join us on stage, followed by Gyth Rigdon, who is performing in our town for the third time, who will then be followed by our Headliner for the 2026 Freedom Festival Concert, Nashville Recording Artist, Travis Denning! Known for songs like "After A Few", "ABBY", and "Dirt Road Down", Travis Denning is sure to put on an unforgettable night of music. Gates will open at 3pm for music to start at 6pm. 🎢

To top off the entire day of freedom fun, we will have our beloved Firework Show, which you know will be grand for this 250th Independence Day Anniversary event, beginning around 10pm!πŸŽ†

Join us on June 13 at 6:00 PM at the Belton Center for the Arts for a special presentation celebrating 250 years of American history and the enduring spirit of freedom.

DAR Member Andie Thompson will share the story behind her award-winning artwork, β€œBehethlands Loom,” an impressive 62” x 47” mixed-media piece created using 528 used tea bags. The artwork powerfully reflects the themes of Taxation, Treason, and Tyranny that helped shape the American Revolution and the fight for independence.

Come hear the passionate 18th-century story woven into this unique piece of art and experience history through a creative and thought-provoking lens.
