✨ Community Spotlight ✨

Honea Path United Ministries is grateful for the generosity of our community! 💚

On September 5–6, Mallie Hanks, 🎓 Student President of the South Carolina High School Rodeo Association 🤠, led a food drive right here in Honea Path. Mary Beachman, a member of Honea Path United Ministries, proudly accepted the donations on behalf of the ministry. 🥫📦

Thanks to the kindness of so many, we are able to continue serving families in need. Every can, every box, and every contribution makes a difference. 🙌❤️

🙏 Thank you to everyone who gave and supported this effort!

🚔 Good Luck, Patrolman Gorham! 🚔

The Honea Path Police Department would like to wish Patrolman Allen Gorham the very best as he begins his 8-week certification course at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy this Sunday, September 7th.

Allen is a rare find—a young man in his mid-20s with an old soul, a big heart, and a true passion for serving his community. Since joining our department, Allen has shown an incredible work ethic and dedication, often volunteering extra time without seeking recognition. He truly loves being a Honea Path Police Officer and is eager to complete his Academy training, followed by his required field training with our department.

Allen was born in New Jersey but has been a lifelong Anderson resident and graduate of Westside High School, Allen has worked hard to reach his lifelong goal of becoming a police officer. We couldn’t be prouder of him, and we are confident that he will make an outstanding officer who will help keep Honea Path a safe and better place for all.

Please join us in wishing Patrolman Gorham the best of luck as he begins this important step in his career. We look forward to celebrating his graduation and welcoming him back in uniform!
