HONEA PATH — Children at Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church are getting their passports stamped and embarking on a global adventure. Youth Pastor Jennifer Elrod described this year’s Summer Passport Series: “Each child stamps their passport weekly with a stamp representing the country we’re visiting. We decorate to reflect the country, offer photo opportunities, serve a full meal, and learn about journeys of biblical figures.”⁣

On July 12, the group celebrated America with songs, games, hot dogs, and an inflatable water slide. The series concludes on July 30 at 6:30 p.m. with a visit to Italy, featuring a spaghetti supper.⁣

“The Lord is moving mightily at HPPHC, and we are truly a place for everyone,” said the Rev. Shane Elrod. “Families can find many ways to get involved, as shown by today’s event.”⁣
