This is a time of putting things in order, but you are inclined to notice what other people need to do instead of examining your own shortcomings. Remember that when you point your finger at someone else there are three fingers pointed back at you. Before you criticize others, look at yourself first, but be generous in your evaluations. To err is human; to forgive is divine.

There are things you have been putting off because they require extra effort. Remember that putting them off does not make them go away. Take the proverbial bull by the horns and do what you need to do, and be done with it. Doing so will result in a deep sigh of relief and a sense of freedom.

You must quiet your soul, and think through the dilemma that you face at this time before you respond to issues that you face. Your strength comes from your relationship with Me, says the Lord. Let Me take the lead.

I was thinking of the lyrics of an old song: Count your blessings; name them one by one. And, I think that is something we need to do periodically. It is easy to dump down into things that are difficult or challenging instead of having faith that when we abide in the Lord, everything will work out according to the will of God. We need to trust Him to reveal His perfect will for each one of us.

Psalm 103:1-5 Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
