NT Pod 108 continues the series on issues in Bible translation.

David Kossoff in his Bible Stories Retold of the Old Testament does make the connection between the names Joshua and Jesus when telling the story of Joshua. That was in 1968, and I was always struck by that connection back then.

Apologies for the technical issues with the NT Pod at the moment. I spent forever noodling around today to work out what has gone wrong. It turns out that I forgot to update my SSL certificate on markgoodacre.org, where I host the actual files, and without that security, everything gets blocked. I'm now fixing the issue, but it will probably take another 24 hours or so to kick in. In the mean time, episodes are available on the website (podacre.blogspot.com) and the YouTube channel ().

UPDATE: New SSL certificate installed, and the latest episode is now working on Apple Podcasts. Still waiting for Amazon and Spotify. Let me know if it's not working on your platform.
