បន្ទាប់ពីការបើកការបាញ់ប្រហារមកលើកងកម្លាំង និងប្រជាជនស៊ីវិលនៅទិសយោធភូមិភាគទី៤ ក្នុងខេត្តព្រះវិហារ និងខេត្តឧត្តរមានជ័យ ចាប់ពីព្រឹកម៉ោង ០៥:០៤នាទី នៅថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥នេះមក យោធាថៃបានពង្រីកការវាយប្រហាររបស់ខ្លួនមកខេត្តបន្ទាយមានជ័យ ក្នុងភូមិសាស្រ្តយោធភូមិភាគទី៥ ដោយនៅវេលាម៉ោង ១៣:៣៦នាទីរសៀល យោធាថៃបានបាញ់ប្រហារមកលើប្រជាជនស៊ីវិលនៅភូមិព្រៃចាន់ និងភូមិជោគជ័យ ឃុំអូរបីជាន់ ស្រុកអូរជ្រៅ ខេត្តបន្ទាយមានជ័យ ដោយបានប្រើប្រាស់អាវុធធុនតូច និងធុនធំ ដោយកំរោល និងមិនរើសគោលដៅយ៉ាងសាហាវព្រៃផ្សៃមកលើភូមិដ្ឋានជនស៊ីវិលរស់នៅ។
ក្រសួងការពារជាតិ នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា ប្រកាសថ្កោលទោសយ៉ាងដាច់អហង្កាចំពោះទង្វើឈ្លានពានយ៉ាងកម្រោល សាហាវ ឃោរឃៅ ល្មោភសង្គ្រាម របស់ព្រះរាជាណាចក្រថៃ មកលើអធិបតេយ្យ និងបូរណភាពទឹកដីរបស់កម្ពុជា ។
សូមគូសបញ្ជាក់ផងដែរថា ការបើកធ្វើការបាញ់ប្រហាររបស់យោធាថៃលើកនេះ គឺក្រោយពីបានធ្វើសកម្មភាពបង្កហេតុ ជាច្រើនរាប់មិនអស់ច្រើនថ្ងៃមកហើយ ក្នុងចេតនាញុះញង់ជាមួយគ្នានេះខាងភាគីថៃបានបញ្ចេញនូវការផ្សព្វផ្សាយព័ត៌មានជាបន្តបន្ទាប់ ទាំងក្នុងបណ្តាញផ្លូវការនិងក្រៅផ្លូវការនូវព័ត៌មានមិនពិត ចោទប្រកាន់ មួលបង្កាច់មកលើកម្ពុជា ក្នុងចេតនាបំភ័ន្តសាធារណមតិជាតិ និងអន្តរជាតិ និងយកមកធ្វើជាលេសដើម្បីបង្កឱ្យមានភាពតានតឹងផ្នែកយោធាជាមួយកម្ពុជាឡើងវិញ។

Her Excellency Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, the Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence, would like to inform the general public, as well as national and international media outlets, about the situation along the Cambodia-Thailand border today, as follows:
Following the shelling on the Cambodian forces and innocent civilians in the 4th Military Region in Preah Vihear and Oddar Meanchey Provinces at 05:04 AM on December 8, 2025, the Thai military continued to expand its attack to Banteay Meanchey Province. At 01:36 PM, the Thai forces fired on innocent civilians in Prey Chan and Chok Chey villages, O’ Bei Chon Commune, O’ Chrov District, Banteay Meanchey Province, using small and heavy weapons, indiscriminately and brutally targeting civilian villages' residential areas.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia categorically condemns in the harshest terms the brutal, barbaric, and belligerent acts of war committed by the Kingdom of Thailand against Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
It is important to note that the recent attacks by the Thai military forces occurred after numerous provocative actions over the past several days. During this period, Thailand engaged in continuous disinformation campaigns, both through official and unofficial channels, spreading false information and accusations against Cambodia, with the intention of misleading national and international public opinion and using it as a pretext to re-escalate military tensions with Cambodia.
During the entire course of these attacks, the Cambodian forces have maintained their utmost restraint and did not retaliate at all. Cambodia remains strictly committed to respecting and implementing the ceasefire agreement, the Joint Declaration between Cambodia and Thailand, and previous agreements between the two countries, based on the principles of resolving the disputes peacefully and in compliance with international law.
Based on the above information, the public, both national and international media outlets, are advised to be informed accordingly.
