Cafecito Caliente is hosting a Paint and Sip Night!

We have prepared a special Selena on canvas for you to work with on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Consumers Credit Union location at 6935 S. Cedar St. in Lansing, Michigan.

Not an artist? Paint Your Poison has everything including a professional artist who leads the group step-by-step and supplies everything you need including the canvases, paints, brushes, and aprons. No artist experience is required for this fun night!

Cancellation of the Legacy of Cesar Chavez Dinner

The Legacy of Cesar Chavez Dinner scheduled for March 25, 2026 has been cancelled.

In light of the recent statement released from the Cesar Chavez Foundation, we have decided to join other communities and cancel this year’s event.

We remain committed to honoring the Latino community, and the service, dignity, and rights of farmworkers. We will be working on further events and celebrations in the future.

All ticket purchasers and sponsors will be contacted directly regarding reimbursement.
