As the new school year settles in, a Downers Grove North teacher turned an empty prairie into his classroom and it just earned him DuPage County's top teaching honor. Congratulations to 2026 Educator of the Year Jeff Grant. Elmhurst's own Matt Davidson, of Timothy Christian Schools, was also honored as Private/Parochial Educator of the Year.

Park W**e Tour

Enjoy a summer evening w**e walk during a casual guided tour of Central Park (about a 1.5-mile walk). During the tour, guests will experience a selection of w**es with light food pairings from favorites like Antico Posto and Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse. The event starts at the park’s Ginger Creek Pavilion and will end with a summer concert at the Oaks Amphitheater.
