Warning: This Dog of the Week may steal your heart in under five seconds. Meet Rowlf! 🥰

This handsome Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix is the definition of sweet. At just 9 months old, Rowlf is already winning everyone over with his gentle personality, affectionate nature, and happy-go-lucky spirit. He currently weighs 54 pounds and is expected to grow into a big, beautiful boy around 75 pounds.

“I want someone who will always love me," says Rowlf. "All my older dog friends say it's the best thing ever!"

Rowlf is social, smart and ready to become part of a family. Whether it’s neighborhood walks, movie nights or simply hanging out together, he’s ready to be right by your side through it all.

“I’ve got plenty of love to give," says Rowlf. "I’m just waiting for the right humans to share it with."

Yesterday we welcomed Jimmy Hurt from the Prince Edward County Historical Society into the Francis E. Wood Studio to talk about a major piece of Farmville history, the devastating 1912 cyclone that tore through town.

Jimmy also shared details about the upcoming Prince Edward County Historical Society meeting happening Tuesday, May 19 at 7 PM at the Farmville Train Station. The program is free and open to the public, and will include homemade cookies and refreshments.
