𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗼 | Sheriff's homicide detectives have arrested a suspect linked to a murder after a man was discovered shot to death in North over the weekend.

Deputies responded to a call regarding a deceased person in the 19000 block of Kendall Drive on Sunday morning at around 9:19 a.m. They arrived to find the victim, who appeared to have been shot.

According to a news release, people present at the scene were interviewed as part of the investigation, leading to the identification of a suspect. "Omar Antonio Mejia Ceron was arrested for violation of California Penal Code 187," the release said. Ceron, 38, of , is being held without bail at the Central Detention Center.

While further details about the murder, including the identity of the victim, have not yet been disclosed, the investigation is ongoing, and the sheriff's department says that more information will be released as it becomes available.

The violence was compounded by the wounding of two Venezuelan nationals at the hands of border patrol agents in .

This peaceful gathering coincided with a nationwide weekend of action that included over 1,000 protests responding to what activists have labeled a surge in ICE violence and a prolonged pattern of unchecked aggression and mistreatment in marginalized communities throughout America.

Another rally is scheduled for Sunday in downtown at Peace Corner, located at the intersection of Redlands Boulevard and Orange Street, starting at 3 p.m.

Debunking the notion that protesters lack knowledge or sufficient life experience, Mr. Jensen is a U.S. Air Force veteran from the Cold War era, who also possesses a PhD in Aerospace Engineering.

Mr. Jensen was among a group of community members who rallied in downtown as part of the nationwide weekend of peaceful demonstrations following the recent ICE shootings that left two dead and two others injured.

Throughout the nation, communities are coming together in lawful, community-driven actions to demand justice while paying tribute to the lives of Nicole Renee Good from and Keith Porter from , who were both gunned down by ICE agents.

𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 | A 53-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a collision with a Toyota Camry on Wednesday afternoon in the 1300 block of N. Riverside Avenue in .

Rialto Police officers were dispatched to the scene at around 1:25 p.m., arriving within two minutes to find the motorcyclist, Juan Alvarez-Flores, suffering from severe injuries, prompting them to begin providing immediate medical assistance.

Paramedics from the Rialto Fire Department arrived shortly after and transported Alvarez-Flores to a nearby trauma center, where he died of his injuries at around 2 p.m.

The driver of the Toyota, who was uninjured, stayed at the scene and cooperated fully with the investigation. According to a press release, alcohol or drug impairment does not appear to have played a role in the collision.

𝟭 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝟭 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗴; 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗱𝘆 | One man is dead, and another has been hospitalized following a double stabbing incident in the Arrowhead Farms area of ; deputies have apprehended the suspect.

The deadly encounter happened on Tuesday evening in the 4000 Block of North F Street. Paramedics and deputies responded to the scene at around 7:17 p.m., where they found Albert Hull, 56, along with another male, 48, who were both suffering from 'multiple sharp-force injuries'. Hull was rushed to a hospital while CPR was being administered but was later declared dead.

Deputies worked throughout the night to identify the stabber, and "Jason Galindo was identified as the suspect in the murder of Hull and the attempted murder of the second victim," a sheriff's press release said.

Galindo, 48, who fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival, was located and arrested the following day around 1:25 p.m. with the assistance of the Specialized Enforcement Division. He is being held without bail for murder. The second victim remains hospitalized.

Neighbors tell Inland Wire that numerous deputies had to respond back to the location on Wednesday night around 7 p.m. following some type of disturbance.

The 10-foot by 15-foot mosaic mural will be composed of 10,000 individual, community-created artworks and permanently displayed inside the new Children’s Health Specialty Clinics. The finished installation will welcome children and families as they arrive for care, creating a vibrant and inspiring space rooted in community connection.

The challenge consists of teenagers who either kick or violently bang on random residential doors, typically during the night, before fleeing the scene. While it may remind one of the classic "ding-dong ditch" prank, this challenge has intensified, leading to considerable property damage and genuine safety issues, raising concerns among law enforcement agencies across the country.

Ontario police warn that the behavior is dangerous and can result in injuries to individuals on either side of the door, significant property damage, and serious legal consequences, such as arrest and charges of vandalism or trespassing.

Parents are encouraged to have conversations with their kids about making safe and responsible choices, emphasizing that no online trend is worth jeopardizing their safety or future prospects.

𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 | Senator Eloise Gómez Reyes of the , has introduced legislation that aims to prevent federal immigration agents from disrupting regularly scheduled court appearances with unannounced and indiscriminate arrests.

Senate Bill 873 (SB873), once amended in the coming weeks, will provide legal assurances that Californians are safe from immigration agents in and around the grounds of a courthouse.

“The issue is clear cut,” said Senator Reyes. “One of the core responsibilities of government is to protect people – not to inflict terror on them. California is not going to let the federal government make political targets out of people trying to be good stewards of the law. Discouraging people from coming to court makes our community less safe. I look forward to the robust discussions that will come from this measure, and ultimately, toward providing relief to impacted communities across the state.”

“Using courthouses as arrest sites turns access to justice into a trap,” said Kate Chatfield, Executive Director of the California Public Defenders Association. “It drives people away from courts, harms public safety, and erodes trust in the rule of law. This past year, we have seen people terrorized in and around courthouses by ICE arrests. We are pleased that Senator Reyes is championing legislation to protect California's residents and California's justice system.”

The crash happened Tuesday evening around 5:30 p.m. near Hemlock Avenue. Firefighters had to extricate the driver of the pickup who was trapped in the mangled Ford.

The incident led to a request for hazmat teams due to a significant fuel leak, resulting in the closure of the eastbound lanes of Valley between Live Oak and Hemlock Avenues for several hours.

Valley Boulevard between Etiwanda and Citrus Avenues is recognized as one of five designated truck routes by the city or county in Fontana, a warehouse concentration region.

Enacted in September 2024, California Assembly Bill 98 (AB 98) mandates that local jurisdictions create and uphold designated routes for heavy-duty trucks. This legislation aims to optimize the utilization of state highways and major arterial roads, steering clear of residential areas and sensitive locations like schools, parks, homes, and hospitals.

The cause of Tuesday evening's accident is being investigated by the Fontana Police Department.

According to a press release from the sheriff's department, the teen was driving a Dodge Durango westbound on Foothill Boulevard in the first lane as it neared Lion Street. "As the driver approached the intersection, his vehicle collided with a male pedestrian, who was walking north, crossing Foothill Boulevard."

While the specifics of the collision are still being investigated, the driver remained at the scene, and authorities say that impairment is not suspected to be a contributing factor. The identities of both the driver and the pedestrian have not been disclosed.
