The Minnesota State Fair has once again been recognized as the best in the nation.

USA Today's 10Best announced on Wednesday that Minnesota claimed the top spot in its annual readers' choice awards, with the Iowa and Wisconsin state fairs rounding out the top three.

The Great Minnesota Get-Together, which draws nearly two million visitors to its 320-acre fairgrounds in St. Paul, is praised for its massive economic impact and role as one of the country's largest fairs. It is scheduled to run from late August into Labor Day this year.

Forsyth, MT — The Rosebud County Public Health Department has been notified that recent testing has detected its first West Nile Virus (WNV) positive mosquito sample of 2025. The state reported that 24 mosquito collection pools were set up at the Far West Fishing Access Site area on July 27, 2025. Eight of the twenty-four collection pools tested positive for West Nile Virus. The samples were confirmed positive by the lab at the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) in Helena.

✅Look both ways and watch for new signs and double-yellow pavement markings.
✅Use all designated pedestrian crossings—this is especially important with two-way traffic!
✅The new two-way cycle tracks will be available to use after crews return to apply permanent, reflective pavement markings to the roadway in mid-August.
✅Montana Avenue, 1st Avenue North, 4th Avenue North, and 6th Avenue North are remaining one-way streets.
