ππ½ Las Vaqueritas is November Business of the month and they are having a special! Stop in and say high and check out what they have!!
The Western spirit can be found in our Fort Morgan Business of the Month recipient, Las Vaqueritas! Congratulations to downtown store owner and operators, Carolina Longoria and her daughter, Yadira, who continue this family legacy business of offering unique Western-inspired merchandise to our community residents. Not only can one discover popular product bands, such as Wranglers and Levi, but a wide variety of hats, boots, jackets, leather belts, and fragrances associated with the popular Western brand culture can be discovered at 215 Main Street. They are among the few, if not the only business in Northeast Colorado, that carries accessories for charreria, which is a traditional Mexican horsemanship.
Recently, they have invested in a facade facelift to their 9600 square foot retail store that encompassed new windows, doors, and stucco. Earlier this year, the building was named a local landmark for its connection to housing the former USA Theatre that delighted movie goers with playing several films, including popular Westerns, at the beginning of the 20th century.
For more than two decades, Las Vaqueritas has been a special designation for locals and out-of-town guests for Western wear and continues to honor the Western genre ideals of self-reliance, imagination, and new beginnings for cowboys and small businesses alike! Congratulations Las Vaqueritas and thank you for being a part of our business community.
