Bear Brown may be known around Hammock Bay as the unofficial mayor of Abide Coffee, but long before the pup cups and neighborhood fame, he was just a little puppy from a pasture in northern Oklahoma. 🐾

Over the years, Kyle and Stephanie Brown have watched Bear grow into the laid-back, treat-loving dog everyone in the community knows today. Whether he’s greeting customers at the coffee truck, relaxing outside, or making new friends, Bear always brings a little extra joy wherever he goes. ☕

At 9 years old, he still acts like a puppy when treats are involved, especially if someone opens the famous treat jar. Some things never change. 💛

What’s the farthest you’ve ever traveled from home? For Larry and Rhonda McGraw, the answer is India. ✈️

While visiting family in Hyderabad, the couple spent over two weeks discovering historic landmarks, vibrant cities, local traditions, and unforgettable sights, including elephants in the wild and the iconic Taj Mahal at sunrise. 🐘

From navigating traffic where “the center line is merely a suggestion” to sharing conversations with locals curious about America, the McGraws returned home with a whole new perspective and memories they’ll never forget. 🌏

Celebrating three incredible young women from Hammock Bay’s Class of 2026! 🎓

Kaycie Constant is headed to the University of Alabama to study nursing after graduating Magna Cum Laude and winning three state cheer championships. 🌟

Lorelei Hawes plans to study to become an X-ray technician, and Ayvah Simmons is continuing her passion for advocating for animals while sharing her artistic talents with the community. Each of these graduates has inspired those around them through kindness, dedication, compassion, and hard work. 💙

We cannot wait to see all the amazing things ahead for them! ✨

Meet Bear Brown, Hammock Bay’s favorite four-legged coffee regular. 🐾

You’ll usually find Bear hanging out at Abide Coffee, greeting customers, soaking up attention, and happily guiding everyone toward the treat jar. ☕

This 9-year-old Australian Shepherd mix may have started life on a pasture in Oklahoma, but he’s fully embraced the Hammock Bay lifestyle of naps, neighborhood visits, and pup cups. 🌴

His favorite place to visit? The neighbor’s house, because according to Bear, “the treats are better.” 💛
