Update on Connor Zilisch, Connor posted that he is out of the hospital. His CT scan for his head was clear but he did suffer a broken collarbone.

Conner Zilisch wins the Mission 200 at the Glenn. Zilisch was able to hold off Sam Mayer who finished second. Rounding out the top five were Sammy Smith in third, Austin Hill in fourth and Carson Kvapil fifth. Zilisch fell getting out of his car in victory lane and he was taken to the medical center on a backboard. Our prayers are with Conner and his family.

The NASCAR Cup Series visited Iowa Speedway for only the second time in the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol and William Byron was able to run 144 laps on his last tank of fuel to hold on for the win. It was Byron’s second win of the year and fifteenth of his Cup career. Pole sitter Chase Briscoe finished second and stage one and two winner Brad Keselowski third. Last year’s winner Ryan Blaney came home fourth with Ryan Preece rounded out the top five.

The NASCAR Cup Series returned to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Brickyard 400. For the second week in a row, the race went to double overtime before a Toyota driver would win the race, this week it was Bubba Wallace in the 23XI Racing Camry. Wallace was able to hold off Kyle Larson who finished second. Denny Hamlin finished third after starting in the rear of the field in a backup car. Ryan Preece finished fourth with his teammate Brad Keselowski fifth.

Conner Zilisch was able to capture the 100th win for JR Motorsports at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Sam Mayer finished second with Taylor Gray third. Kyle Larson was fourth and Ryan Sieg fifth.

Layne Riggs won for the second time of the year in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Riggs won the TSport 200 at Lucus Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Corey Day finished a career high best of second and Corey Heim finished third, clinching the regular season championship. Grant Enfinger was fourth and Ty Majeski fifth.

Another NASCAR road course race, another win for Shane van Gisbergen. SVG dominated the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. Chase Briscoe ran strong all day and finished second. Chase Elliott and Michael McDowell both made late race pit stops during the last caution and were able to make it back up to third and fourth respectively. Christopher Bell rounded out the top five.
