The Remember2019 Collective Presents "Black 'n 'da Blues: Stories and Songs from the Arkansas Delta! SEE DATES & VENUES BELOW:

Local dates include performances at the MM Tate Auditorium in Marvell, Ark., on September 28, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.; and at Waves of Prayer (formerly Elaine Elementary) in Elaine, Ark., that same evening, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Four new venues have been added to this "must see" tour!. They are Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (Helena), September 26, 2019 (12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.); Arkansas State University (Jonesboro), September 27 (7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.); and Lyons College (Batesville, AR), September 30, 2019 (4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.); and the Arkansas Repertory Theatre (Little Rock, Ark.), Tuesday, October 1 (7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).

Admission is free to all. Along with the Remember2019 Collective, this triple play return engagement is co-hosted in partnership with the Delta Cultural Center, the Elaine Legacy Center (Elaine, Ark.) and Boys, Girls, Adult Community Development Center in Marvell, Ark. Back by popular demand, this is the companies third tour of the Delta and will feature performances by blues and gospel performers from the Arkansas Delta. The Delta Cultural Center would like to pay a special remembrance to John William “Sunshine” Sonny Payne who was born on this day November 29, 1925 at Helena. He was the long time host of “King Biscuit Time” ,the award winning radio show, which appealed to generations of blues fans and musicians. His legacy continues to live on with the music and program he so loved. Thank you.
