I'm going to say what a lot of artists and makers are feeling right now: The internet is becoming a fake, exhausting place.

We are surrounded by a mess of fake AI-made "art" and super-perfect, AI edited photos that hide the real, messy parts of life. We've lost the fun of the work itself—the human effort, the beautiful slip-ups. All of that is being slowly removed and replaced by cold, perfect stuff that just doesn't feel real.

And the commentary? It’s often worse. The loudest voices are the unkind complainers hiding behind screens, throwing negative opinions and cynicism into the void. It seems we've lost the kindness and patience required to truly appreciate human effort.

Here's my rebellion:

While everyone else is chasing the algorithm and feeding the AI machine, I am happily digging through the trash. Literally.

I am taking discarded, forgotten furniture and hand-painting it with serene, peaceful scenes. My hands get dirty. My work is imperfect. It is real. And the sheer joy I get from transforming something broken into a functional piece of art is something a computer program will never understand or replicate.

My work isn't optimized for your feed. It won't be edited by an AI. It's just me, finding genuine happiness in the little things and keeping the flame of real, messy creation alive with hand painting and staging. Light and photography.

I choose joy. I choose paint. I choose real. What do you choose? 🎨
