In my off season .... Wait, there is an off season? My name is Kristy, Originally from Tn but currently reside in AR. Wife to a sprint car driver, mom of 4 amazing young men/boys. I picked up a camera in my late teens and fell in love. Capturing the world was at my fingertips. I bought my 1st camera and went on an adventure. An adventure that has been non stop for over 20 years. It is something I

am passionate about. I started out in nature photography. Telling the stories that others may never see. That eventually led me to parties, weddings, maternity and etc. When my husband asked me to take pics of his sprint car a few years ago, I saw how it came alive behind the lens without moving. It sparked a fire. So 6 years ago I took up motorsports photography. Talked to other photographers that are now amazing friends and they answered a million questions. I bought the right equipment and hit the ground running. It is now my 1st love behind the lens. The rush you get when those cars come by you and the rumble you feel in the ground beneath your feet. The appreciation from the drivers when they see the photos that you have captured. Makes it all worth it. So if you are looking for that one pic.... let me know how I can help. This Saturday night, Sept 12th, I am staying close to home and taking it back to where I started.
The famed 1/4 mile gumbo oval they call "The Ditch" owned by Clayton Allen.
Riverside International Speedway West Memphis, AR is where the action will be this weekend.
This track has produced some of the best drivers who ever stepped foot on dirt. Legendary names that will float off people's tongues for generations to come.
"Ho**er" Hood, Ricky Hood, Sammy Swindell, Jeff Swindell, Ray Bugg, Greg Hodnett, Bud Ward, Shorty Chambliss, Ricky Stenhouse Jr to name a few.
All who have made legendary moves across the gumbo and paved the way for others.

Join us this Saturday as the MidSouth shows it's talent on dirt.

Yall make sure to make your way over to the famed Riverside International Speedway West Memphis, AR this Saturday for First Responders night and the debut of the Crown Vic's at "The Ditch"

Bring your friends, family.... shoot, bring everyone!!

See yall on the dirt this Saturday!!

Just a reminder, that Riverside is off this Saturday night but will return to action on September 12th for First Responders Night featuring "Open" Super Late Models making their return to Riverside.

Also making their debut at Riverside will be the "Crown Vics" for the first time ever.

Classes: Open Late Models, Rick's Crane Services Winged Sprint Cars, G&S Electrical Services Modifieds, Black Oak Gin 600 Micro Sprints, Riverside Stock Cars, and Crown Vics.

As always, we will have the Kid's Foot Races at Intermission!

Grandstands open at 5pm, Hot Laps at 6:30pm, Racing at 7:30pm

General Admission $20, First Responders with credentials $10, Kids 6-11 $5, and Kids 5 and under are free. Pit Passes $35.

So I am finally home and have photos importing to go through them. My goal is to have all the victory lane photos from Clayhill Motorsports Park posted and fingers crossed the gallery posted by end of day today.
As always, it was a pleasure to come shoot with the amazing talent infield. The drivers are always so respectful as is the staff.
