Highside Motorsports / Whatley Racing Father & Son team. Racing since 1999. Started in karts, mini sprints, Winged Sprint 305 and now Winged Sprint 360 My name is Tyler Whatley.

I’ve been behind the wheel of a race car since 1999. Started out in kart and worked my way to mini sprints and currently been in a 305 winged sprint car since 2014. I have an MSCA Championship under my belt. Love the sport of racing, seeing the fans smile and my favorite part is the fact that we are a father & son team. Recently adding 360 Winged Sprint Cars to our list. We do all of our own work,

painting and decals. I paint custom racing helmets and graphics. Hard working father of 2 amazing boys! When I’m not on the track I’m spending time with my family, playing pool or building something….. or working on the race car…
