Sarah Ontiveros, a Houston native, has over a decade of experience in media production. She began with photography, shooting for local bands, festivals, and events before opening her own portrait studio. In 2016, she earned a Bachelor’s in English Literature with a focus on Creative Writing from the University of St. Thomas. Her passion for visual and written storytelling led her to film, where she completed a Production Management course at Houston Community College. Since then, she has worked on various film projects as a First Assistant Director, Producer, Actor, and Writer/Director. Her debut short film was a finalist in the 2023 HCAS CineSpace competition, selected from over 400 global submissions.
