(pronounced DJ SIP) Since 1999 I decided to expand my love for music by opening my own mobile DJ business by purchasing a cargo trailer, a big & heavy sound system, lights & a ton of music. Under the guidance of a good friend, DJ Mean Gene “El Gigante” from Houston’s Super Tejano 108, I started Emceeing at his family’s event hall, Gabby’s Hall. I will forever be grateful for him guiding me through the basic do’s & don’ts of speaking on the mic & mixing music. Gradually started DJing entire events as I got acclimated with this sophisticated (sarcasm) equipment called a CD Controller. Mean Gene kept a very well stocked library of CD’s on his shelves in the DJ booth but I always felt more comfortable bringing my 8-10 cases that held 60 cds in each case. Together I could DJ til 6 in the morning just on cds. Lol. After many Saturday nights @ Good Times Bar & Grill in Alvin,Tx, many weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, Christmas parties, cook offs, graduation parties, quinceaneras & yes a few divorce parties too, Technology changed, music became digital & heavy passive speakers became a thing of the past. After 19 years I still have a love for all my Texas music & would love to share my knowledge & love of music at your party! All equipment is upgraded & I love older music but I do belong to several DJ Pools where I obtain the latest music files. I am a 1 man show but do benefit from my beautiful wife Matilda’s suggestions who also is a Country & Tejano music expert. Open for business & taking bookings small to medium intimate and relaxed venues. I make it a point to have at least 2 meetings with my clients prior to their event in order to customize their party. The more you plan out your itinerary on what you want for your event, the better it will turn out! Specializing in 70’s,80’s,90’s & 2000’s I can take you back memory lane! For a party with all music I can still produce the latest music. I am a Christian family man & always pride myself in giving my clients a show with all clean music.
