If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, hit follow and join us in empowering the modern mom through every beautiful, chaotic, and unforgettable step of motherhood. I am the founder and CEO of Baby Chick®, and I am beyond thrilled to start this new adventure with all of you! I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about myself, my passions, my experience, and what led me to create Baby Chick. After receiving my degree from the University of Texas at Austin and spending some time in the working world, I quickly realized I needed to follow my true passion—supporting and caring for others, particularly women and children. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of mothers throughout their pregnancies, births, and postpartum journeys. I have assisted over 300 mothers as a birth doula during their labors and births and helped over 700 families as a baby planner, postpartum doula, massage therapist, educator (childbirth classes, newborn care classes, infant massage classes), and more. I had the privilege of helping these families around the Houston, TX, area with these services over the past 14 years. Once starting this career path, people began to know me and say, "I've heard of you. You're that baby chick that works with pregnant moms." The nickname has now stuck, and people affectionately refer to me as "The Baby Chick®." With the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years supporting women and families, I wanted not only to be able to inspire, educate, and uplift mothers in my area but also do just that for mothers everywhere. I recognized this need and created Baby Chick, which focuses on the modern mom. Motherhood is beautiful, rewarding, and amazing in so many ways. But it can also feel overwhelming, exhausting, and at times lonely. At Baby Chick, I want you to feel like you have a friend, a professional, and a place to turn to when you need encouragement or clarity. We’re here to remind you that you’re doing a great job—and that you’re never alone. I’m honored to support so many incredible families, and I genuinely love the work I get to do. I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know me, and I can’t wait to get to know you as you read and engage with our Baby Chick community. With love,
Nina - The Baby Chick®
