Caught red-handed.

Last night, we received a call from a resident about two men underneath a vehicle. When Night Shift officers arrived, they found the individuals actively cutting out a catalytic converter, with a third suspect waiting nearby in a vehicle.

Two suspects were immediately apprehended, while the third fled on foot. He, too, was quickly taken into custody.

Antony Lavan, Tilmerian Avery, and Dwight Townsend are all charged with Unauthorized Possession of a Catalytic Converter, a third-degree felony. Lavan is also charged with Possession of Ma*****na and had an outstanding warrant for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Townsend is additionally charged with Evading Arrest.

A quick response by our officers led to all three of these suspects being taken into custody. Well done, Night Shift!
