KMTN 96.9 ‘The Mountain,’ Jackson’s flagship station, was founded by “Captain” Bob Morris in 1974. With morning personality and program director Mark “Fish” Fishman and Jake in the evenings together, they offer a unique ‘Adult Alternative’ format that was recently awarded ‘National Station of the Year’ by FMQB. KMTN Broadcasts on 96.9 FM in Jackson, 95.7 FM in Teton Valley, and streams live from KMTN.LIVE.

Attention Travelers of WYO 22, Teton Pass:
The Wyoming Department of Transportation has scheduled a closure of Teton Pass for
Saturday, December 6 at 3:00 AM for avalanche infrastructure testing. This closure is
expected to last approximately one hour. No parking between the closure gates will be
strictly enforced after 8:00 PM tonight. Highway travelers and backcountry users are
advised to plan accordingly. Thank you for you cooperation.

Alt-country singer-songwriter Todd Snider has died at the age of 59.

Prior to his passing, Snider had been receiving extensive treatment for walking pneumonia that had only recently been diagnosed.

Wow! After 6 weeks, we wrapped up the 33rd annual KMTN Ski Free On The Mountain season pass giveaway last night at Sidewinders American Grill. Everyone of our qualifiers that showed up took home a prize! Everything from dry needling from Four Pines Physical Therapy valued at $430, an amazing package worth over $300 from Jackson Mattress Shop & Furniture Co, $250 gift certificate from Shades of Jackson Hole, 2 nights at Mountain Modern Jackson Hole and and gift cards from Pinky G's, Alpine Air Coffee Cafe & Roastery, Pearl Street Market, $100 to The Whistling Grizzly, great prizes from Teton Toys-Jackson, Silver Dollar Bar & Grill, Hoff's Bikesmith, Snake River Brewing, Blue Collar Restaurant Group, and Pet Place Plus LLC.
