I’ve been looking back on past projects today. If y’all can do me a huge favor and watch the video where I made these. (Or any or all 😉 videos) Many of you may not have seen this video from 2 years ago. I desperately need some watch time on YT or I am going to lose my monetization. I will link in the comments. Update on yesterday’s poll. I ended up with 2 bails because I tried one and it did in fact, hang wonky. What do you think about these?? Would you like me to film a tutorial and show you how EASY they are to make?

I need your help!
I’m making this ornament and I can’t decide if I want 1 bail or 2. I feel like I love the look of 1 but I’m afraid it might hang wonky. Whatcha think?? 1 or 2??
Ps. The little hanger thingy is called a jewelry bail. I didn’t know that until last year because I don’t make jewelry 😂

Before anything else — thank you. I know you have endless choices this weekend, and the fact that you choose to shop small with us means everything. It might be called “small” business… but it’s a BIG deal to us. 💛 Thank you for choosing us. When you do, these are the precious ones you’re supporting. We love you!!
Now is a great time to SAVE on greenery! I love all of these but my personal FAVORITE right now is the Siberian half sphere. This one isn’t Christmas specific and will carry you all the way to spring!

There’s no denying this year has been FULL of challenges and changes. I almost feel like I’m starting over in a sense. THANK YOU to all of you that have supported our family and our business this year even when I haven’t been able to provide you with ideas and creativity like I usually do. There’s a lot of “gratitude” coming your way this weekend. Hey Friend!! Welcome to my shop!! My name is Jackie and I am the creator of all the things here at Ruth & Ruby. I have an amazing husband, family and friends I call on from time to time when things get cray!! Like from October to December. ;-). The majority of my work can be found right here on the website or in a few local shops, but I do love the occasional fall or holiday festival.
We reside in the North GA mountains and wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t do cold weather!! I’m a girl mom of 2, coffee lover and serial DIY-er.
I started out making gifts for friends, baby showers, etc. Everyone ALWAYS said “Oh, you should sell this!” So, I decided to try it! I did my first festival in October of 2011 and I knew then, God had a plan for me to create for others. I never imagined people would love things I made so much, they would pay me for them! What a blessing it has been to bring people joy with my handmade decor while being home with my girls.
I create every piece in my home workshop AKA my garage. All of my signs are handmade by me, using real wood and paint (no MDF here, friends) making each sign unique and one of a kind. No two pieces are ever distressed exactly the same.
