Attn bands! Read up! 🔥🔥🔥🤘

Bands who would like to be featured on Underground Sounds. Here's how it works. Please read thoroughly.

If you used AI to make your music, don't bother sending it to me.

Send your SINGLE via an attachment or file sharing service like Dropbox. Do not send a whole album. Do not send Spotify or other streaming links to me. I can't download those and reupload them to our automation.

Make sure your single is edited for airplay. No naughty words. Even if your vox are all gutterals, there's going to be some prick who picks up on the f-bomb and reports it to the FCC. Get in the habit of making non-explicit edits in the studio, especially if you plan on gunning for airplay.

If you don't know what your single is, it's the song that makes the crowd go NUTS when you play it. You probably open or close your set with it.

Be real about how good your production is. No amount of audio processing on my end can make a terrible recording sound like Rick Rubin blessed it. Remember, you're competing with Metallica. There's zero excuse for putting out a poorly produced song with the current advanced state of home recording. Follow Misha Mansoor of Periphery if you need tips on how to get better production values on a budget. If you don't think you need to play to a click, you probably need to play to a click.

We never guarantee airplay, but we do check out everything that is sent our way.
