KJSO presents Bon Voyage on June 26.

Audiences will have the chance to say “so long and good luck” to the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestras at this 7:30 p.m. concert at Dalton Theatre, Light Fine Arts Building, on the Kalamazoo College campus.

Dormouse Theatre presents Five Le****ns Eating a Quiche on June 19–27.

This comedy set in 1956 explores how five women at the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein's annual quiche breakfast react when atomic bomb sirens sound.

Winner of the 2012 NYC International Fringe Festival as Best Overall Production, the show offers a recipe of hysterical laughs, sexual innuendoes, repressions and discoveries.

Several local events this month will commemorate the Juneteenth holiday, which celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth, generally celebrated on June 19, became a federal holiday in 2021 and marks the liberation of the country’s last slaves, in Texas in 1865, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra presents Beatles in the Beer Garden on June 17.

A pint-sized version of the KSO will bring some of the most beloved music by pop icons The Beatles to Bell's Beer Garden, 355 E. Kalamazoo Ave.

Part of the KSO Craft Music Series, the music will be performed by the symphony's Artists in Residence, eight musicians from the larger ensemble.
