There are nights when I feel like throwing in the towel… but then there are nights like yesterday that remind me exactly why I love doing this. Moments like that keep me going.

This throwback pic is from an event last year with my team, Ed and Richie. Next month marks 5 years since I started DJing as a side hustle. A lot of people think it’s my full-time gig, but they don’t see the late nights, early mornings, and everything it takes behind the scenes to keep DJ J-Me® running.

It’s been a quiet summer, especially with everything our hometown has gone through, but just know we’re still here. Fall weddings are officially here, and our busiest season is just getting started.

Ed, the man with the voice that brings every crowd to life. You’ve rocked every stage with me and helped me bring people together on the dance floor. I appreciate you more than you know.

Richie, my brother, my business partner, my rock. You’ve always believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you for being the foundation of this brand and for always holding it down.

What we’ve built wasn’t out of envy. It’s about uplifting each other. That’s what real teamwork looks like.

And to everyone who’s ever booked us, referred us, voted for us, or showed love in any way, thank you. Your support has helped keep this dream alive. Let’s keep it going and start locking in for 2026!

My fiancée and I were both just named finalists for Best of Kerrville 2025 by The Kerrville Daily Times.

Fall wedding 2026 is officially in the works!

Two days ago, I asked my best friend to marry me… and she said YES! Jessie and I are excited to start planning our special day and looking forward to working with some amazing vendors to bring it to life.

After years of being part of so many weddings as DJ J-Me®, it’s surreal to now be planning my own. Here’s to love, music, and new beginnings. 🥂🎶
