Our first go with Whiskey Tree is courtesy of Doc Alejandro T Martinez who released his first two barrel picks with them. One is a bourbon finished in Calvados and the second a wheated bourbon finished in french oak Cognac. Our first go with , Maison De Cuivre. 100% corn whiskey finished in burgundy wine cask. We came across this bottle on a work trip a few weeks back and glad we picked it up.

The finish gives a dark and rich color with a good balance of fruity and grainy notes. Love to see quality products like this being distilled in Virginia!
