Lamesa ISD is proud to announce Aaron Ross as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach of the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes.

Coach Ross brings a proven record of success as a program builder and performance coach. His philosophy is rooted in accountability, effort, team unity, and mastering the fundamentals while always striving to be better than yesterday. Most recently, he served as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Floydada, where he built a culture focused on growth, development, and sustained success.

A former All-Big 12 Forward for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Coach Ross went on to play professionally overseas before beginning his coaching career. He is known for his commitment to building strong relationships with student-athletes, mentoring young people, and putting kids first in everything he does.

Coach Ross is excited to join the Tor Family and lead Golden Tornado Basketball into its next chapter.
