Brian and I just shared a delicious lunch at MAJO Italian/Tex Mex Restaurant in Lebanon. Have you tried it yet? The mozzarella cheese sticks were absolutely wonderful. The are freshly made in their kitchen. You know how I love my cheese .... with more cheese. They were deep fried and crispy. Absolute heaven.
I tried the lasagna with meatballs last time and know that I love that dish. The server, Karen, suggested the MAJO Pasta. It had thinly sliced blackened chicken topping a bed of spaghetti in green sauce. The sauce was made with Poblano peppers. If you are a fan of those peppers, you have to try it. Poblano peppers are a mild chili pepper plant that is native to Puebla, Mexico.
That is a good tie-in to the Mexican food side of MAJO.
I devoured almost all of the chicken. Brian ate most of the pasta.
Our server brought the dessert menu but the appetizer and entree were more than enough to share. I will definitely be coming back for their Tres Leches cake.
I 'borrowed' the picture of their sign from their page.
