Know a kid obsessed with movies and who would love to make their own? Sign them up for our summer class! The week-long program cultivates creativity in a positive environment and allows kids to explore their creative potential.

As we head into the holiday weekend, we're taking a look back to last month and the various town events celebrating Patriots' Day, including the Lexington Lion's club annual five mile road race.

If you missed any of this year's Patriots' Day celebrations, you're in luck! LexMedia staff provided accessible coverage of the celebrations to those who could not attend in person, broadcasting six events live and recording numerous others.

If you know a kid between 9 and 14 who loves movies, consider signing them up for our summer class. The week-long program cultivates creativity in a positive environment and allows kids to explore their creative potential.

Campers will create a short film under the guidance of our skilled staff, all while learning the basics of acting, improvisation, and camera skills. The culmination of their effort premieres at a celebratory party with family, friends, and popcorn! There is also an opportunity for them to create their own project, either solo or with other campers.

Make sure to swing by Lexington center this Saturday for . Mass Ave will be closed from 10am to 3pm so everyone can enjoy a variety of food and merchandise vendors, including a beer garden operated by Craft Food Hall, as well as live music and performances.

This year, we'll have a booth with lots of information about how to get involved with the Media Center, whether it's as a volunteer, by making your own programming, or generously donating. Swing by and say hi - we'd love to see you!

Last week, attendees headed to the LHS gymnasium to watch students perform in two nights of LHS Pops. It's the largest event of the year, showcasing all of the big LHS ensembles, including the choruses, band, orchestra, and jazz ensembles.

One of the most fun spring events in Lexington is , which returns on Saturday May 23rd from 10am to 3pm. The Lexington Retailers Association closes down Mass Ave in the center and attendees enjoy a variety of food and merchandise vendors, including a beer garden operated by Craft Food Hall, as well as live music and performances.
