I wanted to share a quick update that my schedule for May is nearly fully booked. I do have a limited number of appointments remaining for mid to late May, and they are filling quickly.

If you’re planning ahead for June, please feel free to reach out soon, as I won’t be able to accommodate many additional May bookings.

I do also have a cancellation list — if an appointment becomes available, I’ll be happy to contact those on the list. For anything less than a three week turn around or one month for wedding dresses a 20% rush fee will be applied as I have to place your work ahead of other clients.

🌸 Good Afternoon,

UPDATE: April is now booked, taking appointments for May only. I do have a cancelation list if appointments become available.

Just wanted to jump on to let everyone know appointments for April are almost full I have a couple spots left for the last week of April and the month will be booked.

Having trouble with a sticky zipper that’s difficult to close? A simple solution is zipper lubricant — yes, it really exists! Applying a small amount can help the zipper glide smoothly and prevent unnecessary wear.

If your zipper keeps separating after you zip it up, the issue may be a loose zipper pull rather than a broken zipper. Carefully tightening the pull with a pair of pliers can often restore proper alignment so it securely catches both sides of the zipper.

Want to avoid paying for a zipper repair?

I often receive requests for zipper repairs and replacements on coats and jackets. At this time, I do not offer this service, as zipper replacements can be difficult to execute perfectly and can also place significant strain on sewing equipment.

The good news is that many name-brand companies will repair or replace broken zippers at little to no cost through their customer service or warranty programs. It’s always worth reaching out to the manufacturer before paying for a repair!

Another helpful tip: try to avoid putting coats and jackets in the dryer. High heat can cause warping and unnecessary wear on the zipper, shortening its lifespan.
