The 2027 Rimfire USPRA Team USA selection process already kicked off last weekend with a match in Utah, hosted by Rylon Jenson.
From the very first stage, it was clear this season is going to be something special. Competitors were met with a well-run, challenging course of fire that tested positional shooting, wind reading, and consistency—exactly what you want to see in a national-level selection series. The level of talent on the line continues to rise year over year, and this match set the tone for what’s shaping up to be an incredibly competitive road to 2027.
Beyond the scores, what stood out most was the community. Shooters from across the country came together to support one another, push their limits, and represent what makes this sport so strong: sportsmanship, resilience, and a shared passion for precision rifle. A huge thank you to Rylon and the entire match staff for hosting the event.
This is just the beginning. With multiple qualifying opportunities ahead, every point matters and we’re excited to follow along as the leaderboard takes shape and the race for Team USA continues.
