Michael Sliter of Hotwire Productions was proud to donate new ribbon-cutting scissors to the London - Laurel County Chamber of Commerce during the July membership luncheon!

The original scissors served the Chamber well for over 30 years, but after the countless ribbon cuttings, they weren't working the best and it was time to retire them. Hoping these new scissors will serve the Chamber for another 30 years!

It was an incredible honor to work with Attorney Tom Chittum, former Associate Deputy Director of the ATF at the Department of Justice, as he transitioned to private practice after his distinguished career in public service.

In the aftermath of the deadly tornado that swept across London - Laurel County on Friday, we were eager to find ways to support those impacted and assist our community in any way possible.

When United Way of Laurel County was designated as the official long-term disaster relief organization, we immediately teamed up with them to launch a new website: https://unitedwaylaurelcounty.com, dedicated to assisting with monetary donations.

You can donate online using debit/credit cards, Paypal, or through the GoFundMe fundraiser campaign. Alternatively, donations can be mailed or dropped off at any Community Trust Bank or Cumberland Valley National Bank & Trust location.

Every donation stays in Laurel County, with zero administrative fees, and goes directly to disaster relief efforts and families in need.

We are heartbroken by the devastation this disaster has caused and we are committed to supporting the community we love. Donating our services to launch this website is just one small way we’re giving back, and we will continue to show up when, where, and however we’re needed.
