On October 25, 2022, deputies with the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a burglary in progress at a home on Nardo Street in Edinburg, Texas. The homeowner had locked herself and her two children in a bedroom after discovering someone had broken in through the garage.

The suspect ignored her warnings and kept trying to force his way into the room where the family was hiding. Fearing for her family's safety, the mother made a split-second decision and it’s fair to say things didn't end well for him.

Adrián Simancas was out kayaking with his father, Dell, along the stunning but unforgiving waters of the Strait of Magellan in Chilean Patagonia when the peaceful outing turned into something neither of them could have ever prepared for. It happened back in February of last year, on what started out as an ordinary day on the water in one of the most remote and breathtaking corners of the world.

Without warning, an enormous humpback whale surfaced directly beneath Adrián's bright yellow kayak, pulling both him and his boat beneath the surface in a matter of seconds. His father, still nearby, managed to keep the camera rolling through the entire terrifying ordeal, capturing footage that would later leave the internet stunned.

Alabama bus driver Wayne Price picked up his usual route of elementary, middle, and high school students in Montevallo after a two-hour weather delay was announced for Shelby County Schools back in December 2018. Knowing breakfast wouldn't be served at Montevallo Elementary because of the delay, Price made an unplanned stop before continuing his route which ended up making national headlines.

A 13-year-old boy named Zac Waters from Utah spent his summer putting in roughly 300 hours to design, 3D print and assemble a custom wheelchair for a 21-month-old girl. After discovering MakeGood, a nonprofit that 3D-prints assistive devices for people with disabilities worldwide, Zac decided to take on the project himself.

The finished wheelchair came complete with the toddler's favorite color, pink, plus a removable cupholder and tray table, space for medical equipment, soft adjustable straps, and a footrest and headrest designed to grow with her.

Court records now reveal that Elizabeth Siders, the 33-year-old mother at the center of the Ohio ‘House of Horrors’ case, gave birth to a crazy number of children in a remarkably short span of time, raising even more questions as investigators piece together the family's history.

Four family members, including Siders, her husband and his parents, were arrested in June and have pleaded not guilty to multiple child endangerment charges. Officials say the children, ranging from toddlers to teenagers, had suffered years of prolonged neglect.
