Per the official canvass, the election to reorganize the Oldham-Ramona-Rutland School District has failed in a 367-363 vote.

Five provisional ballots were the difference in breaking the tie presented in the unofficial results. Four votes were against reorganization, while the fifth was not counted due to its lack of a stamp.

According to the unofficial results of the Oldham-Ramona-Rutland School District's Dec. 16 election, the decision of whether or not to dissolve the district sits at a standstill, with 363 votes in favor and 363 votes against.

Superintendent Dawn Hoeke said the provisional ballots will be determined at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 17. A special board meeting will follow at 4:30 p.m. for the official canvassing of the vote.
