Bare Necessities, Inc is holding the 8th Annual Law Enforcement Diaper Drive along the Shoreline from February 1-15, 2025. Departments from Clinton, Madison, Guilford, Branford, North Branford, East Haven and Troop F State Troopers in Westbrook will be participating. The public is asked to contribute diapers and wipes in the donation boxes at each of these departments. Bare Necessities, Inc hopes to build on the success of last year’s drive where 29,842 diapers and 10,080 wipes were collected. Pamela Cyrus, MD, President of Bare Necessities, says that “providing diapers and wipes to families in need sets a solid foundation for the child’s future. Without diapers and wipes, children suffer from their health and social development.” The biggest demand is for larger diaper sizes (i.e., Size 5 and 6). Again this year, Vista Ventures will assist with collecting the diapers from the departments to transport them to their warehouse in Madison, CT.
