I did not produced artwork after the 2018 Woolsey Fire for over two years. This space of time filled my head with overwhelming and pathetic self-doubt about my artistic capacity to produce effective art work. Adding to my emotional drama, I found myself dealing with eye-sight issues, weight gain and trembling hands! But the most difficult aspect of returning to work is the lack of an industrious space – my wonderful studio is gone forever....

After a decade of living within the boundaries of Brazen's territory, our resident coyote, stopped his weekly – regular routine visits. Brazen was entwined into my life on this property. We shared our small parcel of land with mutual curiosity and acceptance. As the years passed I never stopped appreciating the gift of friendship he gave so willingly.
