Can we talk about these corduroy’s for a quick second! I love them, they have double lines down the side and something about that makes your legs appear slimmer (especially as a pear shape like me).

They did come in several colors so I went back and got them in burgundy & cream colored too.

For ref. I’m a size 18, 5’4, 215 pds. The pants have stretch so I squeezed into a size 14 but probably should have gone for a size 16.

The Banana Republic jacket was a Christmas gift 🎁 & I’m wearing a size XL

The knit sweater I got on clearance at Costco of all places lol. They only had a Medium but it’s super hella stretchy thank goodness! I’ve linked similar styles in case you can’t find the exact one.

My bougie looking but inexpensive gold jewelry are staple pieces I wear on repeat.

Then there are my trusty slip in Stetcher tennis shoes that save my back from having to bend over to take on and off my shoes ❤️

An overall a comfy but casual winter outfit for this chilly season we are having.

For ref. I’m 5’4 & a size 16-18 (215pds). In this fleece graphic pullover sweatshirt I’m wearing a size L & a size & in the cute wide leg denim pants with the cute lines up the front I’m also wearing a L.

However, I do want to mention that the jeans are a light weight denim almost like slacks and they do fit snug at the hips but have a perfect elastic waist and then widen up for a loose fit going down the legs to bell out.

If you are not a pear shape like me and are more of an apple body type or have an apron belly you may want to stick to true to size or size up one.

The pants do an excellent job at balancing the body proportions and they are very comfy too.

Channeling my Ellie Woods Legally Blonde pink vibes here in this athletic outfit. This pink gingham gives me life, this set is so buttery soft & stretchy too.

Let me preface by saying they were out of my size so I had to squeeze into this. I’m pretty sure if I moved my arm too fast my tatas might have sprung out like a Jack n the box 🤣🤣

Style Tip:

There are very subtle differences between these 2 cardigans. Look how they each make my same size 18 body look so different. Let’s talk about why you might chose one over the other for your body type:

If you tend to be an apple shape or carry more weight in your tummy sweater #1 is an excellent option since it has the solid black in the middle & gives the illusion of a smaller waist by drawing the eye to the print just on the otter sides.

Cardigan #2 is for those pear shape girlies who are smaller on the top & want to accentuate their assets. This sweater draws the eye to the smallest area. It makes the most of waist & bust with the visual print all over since it’s a closed button down.

So, are you a closed or open kind of cardigan type of girl….
