🚨 PRTC SERVICE ALERT — PRIMROSE AREA OF LEE COUNTY

PRTC customers in the Primrose area of Lee County are currently experiencing an outage after a pine tree fell across an electric line and subsequently burned through PRTC’s fiber line.

Our crews are working to make repairs as soon as it is safe to do so. Current estimates are 12–14 hours before crews can safely access the line, complete repairs, and restore services.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while our crews work to get everyone back online.

We will provide an update as soon as we have additional information.

PRTC customers on Morgan Branch Road and all connected side roads are currently experiencing a service outage due to a structure fire that burned through our cable.

All PRTC services in the affected area are currently down. Our crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to make the necessary repairs and restore service.

When individuals steal copper wire or destroy fiber cables, they don't just take property; they cut off local families from 911 emergency services, hospitals, schools, and businesses. PRTC is proud to see stronger laws protecting the vital infrastructure that keeps our neighbors safe and connected.
Help us keep our network secure. If you ever notice suspicious activity near utility poles, remote equipment stations, or PRTC facilities, please report it immediately to local law enforcement.
