Conceived as a cultural and industrial landmark, the 6,800 sqm museum showcases the evolution of China’s white-feathered broiler chicken industry while serving as a hub for agricultural innovation and exchange. Located in the ecologically rich foothills of the Wuyi Mountains, the architecture draws direct inspiration from its natural context.

The building features three gently rising, interlocking roof forms that reinterpret the mountainous terrain, creating a walkable landscape of courtyards and panoramic views. Supported by four silo-shaped shear walls, the column-free main hall accommodates large-scale exhibitions beneath a 25-meter-high vertical atrium illuminated by a north-facing skylight.

🌱Expo Cultural Park Greenhouse Garden, located in Shanghai’s Pudong district, repurposes a former industrial site into a sustainable urban oasis. Designed by Delugan Meissl Associated Architects, the project aims to create a zero-energy greenhouse, incorporating energy-efficient features such as single glazing and passive cooling through natural ventilation. Completed in 2024, this innovative space houses three distinct pavilions representing desert, tropical, and vertical floral environments, offering ecological and educational experiences.

⛓️The structure’s steel framework, originally from a former industrial hall, is reimagined to support the building’s organic form, with glass panels optimized for transparency and structural efficiency. The project is a testament to Shanghai’s shift towards integrating nature with urban development, reflecting the city’s commitment to sustainability in the face of climate change.

The Canadian School in Cholula, Puebla, designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, integrates the landscape and local heritage into its educational experience. Located near the Popocatépetl Volcano and the Cholula Pyramid, the design draws inspiration from the region’s history and wisdom, fostering a harmonious balance between the built environment and nature. 🍃

The school features a radial layout that prioritizes common spaces at the center, allowing daily activities to unfold inward. This arrangement leaves 62% of the site unbuilt, enhancing the connection between the architecture and the outdoors. A rooftop park, accessible from the street, extends the playground and encourages student interaction. The modular design comprises seven circular structures divided into twenty-four segments, housing classrooms, administrative offices, sports facilities, cafeterias, gardens, and courtyards. Currently under construction, the Canadian School is set to open in 2025.
