Tornado Warning including Bridgewater until 6:45 PM.

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Tornado Warning for Southwestern McCook County in until 645 PM. At 606 PM, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Bridgewater, or 16 miles west of Lake Vermillion State Recreation Area, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern McCook County.
