HER RARITY

Speaking about beauty with brain,
Sounds more of an insult to be plain.
Her beauty rivals the wonders of the world,
Her physique commands men with mansion
to stand at ease and at tension.
Her character is peerless,
Any attempt to impress her is useless.

She is like a human computer with emotions,
She interprets believes and decisions,
before she produces a sensible output.
She intercepts insecurities and filter them like an antivirus,
She senses a crack in a voice and fixes the issue,
with humor or giving a tissue,
She keeps track of progress and recommend the right update.

She comes close to none in composure and self-control,
And her voice?
Is a euphonic one that heals the soul.
She is no man's "type" nor "choice",
She is the kind born once in a century,
One with human qualities that can only be described as heavenly.

She does everything with purpose,
To befriend her you need to be cautious.
Don't misquote this for her being dangerous,
Nope! She is simply righteously righteous,
I mean she is absolutely beautifully gorgeous.

FOR THE LAST TIME

I should have seen it coming,
I should have read the signs.
Anyway,
I guess it has begun.
I can't believe that I fell in love again,
I, who thought you were my friend.

How was I supposed to know.
My heart beat will accelerate at your sight.
How was I supposed to predict,
My mind will be flooded with thoughts of you,
How was I supposed to know,
Boycotting talking to you will give me a pyrexia,
One that no version of paracetamol can cure.

We formed an aponeurosis,
Before we anastomosis.
But you never told me,
Resisting loving you is impossible.
You should have given me a reason,
You should have warned me of this su***de mission.

You never mentioned,
You have the ability to trap a soul,
Though it is my fault for setting another goal,
You should have warned me,
To keep a distance like three meters or thirty three,
You should have drawn a line to create a boundary.

But no!
You pampered me like a little cutie
newly born baby,
You assured me my request is your command,
Allowed me to create a kingdom of fantasy
with an illusion you'll forever hold my hand.

Now I am so into the dream world you sent me to,
And I have saved us a love themed table for two.
Will you join me?
Will you make me the happiest man in the planet as a whole
Or will you make me break the record for the most miserable man in the world
I leave it all to you and to what will be will be.

MY LESSON OF THE YEAR

JANUARY made me understand and memorize the definition of Bond.
FEBRUARY taught me lessons on the importance of Bond.
MARCH then taught me how, where, when, and with whom I should make Bonds.
How; through being there for one another, honesty, sharing, respect and caring without keeping records.
Where; Everywhere,
When; At any time,
Who to bond with; it could be anyone.
APRIL recommended that I should always cherish my Bonds.
MAY taught me never to forget to consider all the time maintaining my Bond.
JUNE advised me to sincerely create my bonds, but never neglect bonds that matter while establishing new Bonds.
JULY warned me not to look for perfection or expect all my bonds to last forever.
AUGUST taught me to be ready to let go of people who stop giving value to our Bond.
SEPTEMBER taught me not to force anyone into committing to our bond.
OCTOBER advised me on when to hold tight and when to loosen my grip on a bond when the going gets tough.
NOVEMBER taught me not to create a bond because I am requested, pressured or lonely, but because it's genuine.
DECEMBER then explained to me why I should create bonds with people I trust no matter who they are and where they are from, and people who value Bonds.

In summary;
I learned from the twelve months how everybody is so much in need of bonds, even though some people pretend to be better off alone.
Yes! Apparently, you will create bonds with many or few, with some lasting for long and others a few years or even months.
And it continues roaming in that circle.
Therefore; don't feel bad if a person can not stay for as long as you wanted them to.
Don't feel guilty at some points when you're incapable of holding on to your bond with someone.
You're a human after all, and don't forget to be kind and make bond with yourself.

In conclusion,
A quote from the Holy Bible reads; “Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10)
May God help us to bond with others as well as with ourselves. I need your eyes and mind and mine to be opened, so I will end this by saying, AMEN!

STUCK, IN MY OWN HEAD

I need a ton of advice from all aspects of life.
Bring it on, even the ones that pierces like knife.
You don't have to be a professor's apprentice,
anyone should just give me one piece.
Let loose whatever you have got in mind,
I promise you don't even have to be kind.

Say it in whatever way you may like,
You don't have to be polite.
I am seriously ill,
Give me the bitter pill,
I want to take it without a drop of water,
only that way I might feel a little better.

I tried different kinds of gambit,
thinking one might change my worst habit.
That's when I realized I wasn't a good player,
because all my sacrifices turned out to blunder.
Check!
See how I messed up,
Watching every fortune slip as my doubts piled up.
I missed so many chances to make a come back,
and I blamed my inaccuracies on bad luck.

I talk the talk and never walk the walk,
I'd rather explain the theory than hold the chalk.
Yet I feel drained regardless of doing nothing,
The only thing I can't stop doing is worrying,
Wondering what if I am meant to be a loser,
Wondering if I'll ever claim the right of being a Winner.

OOPS! SORRY

Oops! My bad,
I didn't mean to upset you like that,
I mean not to the extent to get you hurt,
I mean I didn't mean it at all,
It wasn't all part of my plan,
I mean I didn't do what I did on purpose.
I'm losing sleep pondering how to fix this,
Can we bypass it please?

You're still mad and won't talk to me,
Didn't I apologize already,
You even had me go on my knee,
Or do you think this is a parody?
Oops! Sorry,
I am losing it once again,
Nevertheless you're granting me no option.
How do I apologize to your satisfaction?

I understand that I hurt you,
And you have the right to be mad all the time,
I'll hand myself to the police-
if what I did is a crime.
Regardless you shouldn't give me a deaf ear,
Give me the benefit of the doubt-
if you don't want to believe me,
Because just being mad also makes me mad.

Oops! Sorry,
Oops! My bad,
Oops! I didn't mean to upset you again.
I take back all my negative words,
I will erase the feelings they gave you if I could,
If only we were in a sci-fi or anime movie.
Although we are in a rough reality,
I can do something juicy,
How about I buy you a smoothie?

JUST LIKE THE GROUND AND THE SKIES

Just like the ground and the skies,
Is the love of my life and I.
She is extremely colorful and vibrant than the rainbow,
Unlike me who is dark with no hue nor luminosity.
She is a high class, noble from a royal family,
And I am an underground hustler with a family to provide for daily.

Just like the ground and the skies,
Is the love of my life and I.
We are directly proportional, yet like the unlike poles that repels,
We never see eye to eye, not even on facts proven by science.
We are distance apart at heart,
millions of kilometers to be exact.
She aggressively roars to my flirtings, scaring away my admirations,
And she floods my heart with dirty muddy words,
intending to carry away my emotions.

Just like the ground and the skies,
Is the love of my life and I.
She's nice to my friends and mean to me,
She adores having fun with them as if I am not worthy.
Yet I burn all my pride and suffocate with the smoke,
To be there for her,
To never make her shed tears that are not of joy.

Just like the ground and the skies,
Is the love of my life and I.
Even so,
I pray for her each and every day,
For her family and friends' safe stay.
I am praying for us,
That one day we'll realize having each other is a must.

Just like the ground and the skies,
Is the love of my life and I.
However I believe that one day in one of the days.
The love of my life and I,
Won't be like the ground and the sky.
The force of my unrequited true love,
will pull us closer,
And our love will be let loose to hover.
That very day!
When we make it through,
We will find a way to start anew.
Until then, my patience and hope will bridge this space,
To clear the path for that faithful day when we will be one by God's grace.

PICNIC

I grabbed a bundle of pages and flipped her diary open,
Picnic!
The first word I visualized, calligraphed in bold.
Scanning below, I read the lines.

All I yearn for is reposing on his shoulder,
and leave no room for wonder,
Gaze at the setting sun with him,
and feel his tender touch.
As he holds my cold hands and looks into my eyes,
Kisses my forehead and whispers "I love you"
with purpose and calm authority.
Read me my favorite book,
And serve me the meal he took time to cook.

I want to feel free.
Roll on the floor with laughter to his jokes.
Fearlessly devour all that can be eaten,
without guilt nor critique.
Let out the child in me as I roam barefoot,
Then let him take pictures of me worrying less of how I look.
Pose naturally, like I came from the womb.
Fart when I need to with a smile and comfort,
and never mind the shape of my b***s.
For he'll never stare, measure nor disapprove.

I want to worry less of how I get up from the picnic's mat,
because my knees make weird sounds.
He'll never laugh at me,
I will allow him to carry me when I can't feel my knee,
Then let him drop me at my mother's door,
feeling unashamed of our funny-looking house...
I exhaled a deep breath,
I didn’t know I had been holding.
Then, with a full heart of mixed emotions,
I slowly closed the diary.

HOW I MET MY FUTURE WIFE

I bumped into a gentle figure,
Not realizing I had crossed paths with one of Eve's daughters,
Until she annonced her presence with a brief scream.
Turning to her,
I said, "I am sorry,
Are you hurt?"
Calmly, in a melodic voice,
She said, "It's okay,
Never mind, I am sorry."

It was at this moment that I read the sign,
Instantly realizing she was heavenly transported to my spot.
Thus, without wasting time,
I said, "Hey,
Please! Can I have a minute?"
She said, "No, why?
I already told you to never mind.
What do you want?"
I said,
"I need to tell you something."

She smiled and said, "I am sorry,
You're talking to the wrong person.
I know about everything from arts to science,
The world and I know about religions.
And now I know you'll start talking,
About how I look like I fell from heaven or space."
She said, "please excuse me,
I know about the Milky Way and the whole galaxy.
And for your information,
I know you planned this all along."

As she was about to leave,
I said,
"I don't doubt your intelligence,
But you didn't mention what I want to tell you.
Don't you want to hear it and add to your knowledge?"
She was puzzled as she stood still,
Gazing in my direction.
I smiled as I watched her face reaction.

You might know about arts,
But I bet you didn't know,
How your face is perfectly designed with the golden ratio.
I don't doubt you know science from what I am seeing,
But did you know the velocity ratio of my heartbeat's rhythm,
The kinetic energy when my blood pressure rises,
And the potassium energy calming it when your gaze struck me?
From your knowledge of the world and religion,
Could you see through my eyes this déjà-vu?

See, you can't possibly fall from heaven,
Because all the bad angels had already fallen.
There's no way you fell from space either,
Besides aliens' weird appearance that doesn't match your look.
It's only a wonderful mother who's able to nurture such a beauty like you.
And for your information,
I wish I planned this all along.
But thank you.
Now we can certainly plan the unplanned.

LETTER TO MY EX

Dear love,
I believe you can still recognize this handwriting.
It must have taken you back in time,
The day I handed you my heart in a piece of paper.
You had to open it when the time was right,
So nobody could interrupt the heart-to-heart message that night.

As I write this to you,
It also takes me back to that day,
The day I poured all my emotions onto a spotless sheet.
I wanted to write more than a page,
To show you my love can’t be expressed in just a few words.
But the same me wanted to write less,
To let you know I can’t find the words,
To describe my indescribable love for you.

I’m writing this to say what I never told you before.
I locked my heart with yours,
With my three most valuable things inside,
You,
our memories,
and my future plans for us,
All locked in my heart with yours.

I’m afraid I lost the keys,
And that’s why I’m writing this.
I can’t break the lock.
Because your heart is on the line,
And it’s yours that matters,
I don’t care about mine.

I didn’t say goodbye because I didn’t want to leave,
And I haven’t left.
I only gave us time to figure things out in life,
But now I realize we needed each other,
Because one is incomplete without the other.
