Arts and Crafts + impromptu Summer Camp for Kindergartners? Um… ✔️? Co-Founder Matt Cori was all about creating an assorted cast of characters today for this lucky kid while waiting out a very long render. Characters created included “Natalie The Mom,” “Billy the Dog,” “Sebastian the Dad,” and “Charlie the Frickle Man.” .

It’s been a minute since we posted here, but that’s because this summer’s been busy with lots of projects in post. So busy that we’ve asked for help from the canine community. “Bear,” has been learning the ropes here at the last few weeks, and as you can see in the one picture, threatening to overtake Mike for the title of “Tallest Member of the Fade In Team.”
In addition to his interest in the suite of products, this (still) growing boy also enjoys ice cubes, sniffing things, greeting people each time they come into Matt’s edit suite to bother him with a question, belly rubs, and being asked if he’s “a good boy,” over and over again. We’re happy he chose us for his editing fellowship.

Last night was special. Having the opportunity to support and celebrate our friends at The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace as they were honored for their role in the creation, guiding and shaping Holy Name Medical Center on its 100th anniversary. Instrumental in the hospital’s founding back in 1925, the CSJP has continued to contribute to and support the hospital’s growth, and inspire its mission of providing compassionate care to all patients. “The journey changes you.”
As filmmakers, and especially as a producer / director, I’m always thinking about the next thing. The next set-up, the next shot, the next bit of direction to share with talent. On the last day of filming, one of our interviewees reminded us all of the importance of staying in the moment, despite the forces that pull us in all kinds of directions on the average day; and to find the joy in the path we’ve chosen. It was a reminder to look around, at the friends I’m lucky to collaborate with and remember I’m in doing what I dreamed of as a child, telling and sharing stories. These pictures captured by are a reminder of that joy and the gratitude that comes with it. If you’re listening, and open…the journey does in fact…change you. - .
