Made in the USA from the same Sunforger® Canvas as every Springbar® Tent, our duffle bags have been a tried-and-true favorite for years.

And they just got even better.

We added a zippered stash pocket to both ends, included a shoulder strap, and they are available in all of our colors – including the new Driftwood.

You’ve seen it on a beach or riverbank, the color a piece of wood takes on after years of weathering in the current and the sun. Warm and earthy, we think it’s a fine color for a Springbar® Tent.

You’ve seen it on a beach or riverbank, the color a piece of wood takes on after years of weathering in the current and the sun. Warm and earthy, we think it’s a fine color for a Springbar® Tent.

A limited run of bags made from remnant material of the 80th Anniversary tent collection.

The Sepia color used in our 80th Anniversary tent collection this past fall was among our favorite colors to date. After cutting the tent patterns, we knew we had to make good use of the remaining scrap.

Available Thursday, February 6 in limited quantities.

AAA 80th Anniversary LTD Carry Bag…

Based on the duffle bags issued to sailors in WWII, our LTD Carry Bag is a nod to Jack’s work as a Naval draftsman in the 1940s.

The heavy-duty cotton webbing strap can be used as a shoulder strap or carry handle.

#5 brass grommets at the opening of the bag are folded and secured with a duffle keeper and buckle.

Springbar - Home of Jack Kirkham’s Canvas Tent Designs

Welcome to the official page for Springbar - the home of Jack Kirkham’s iconic Springbar Tent designs. Our history began in 1944, when Jack purchased the tiny AAA Tent & Awning Shop in Salt Lake City and began a career in canvas. As demand for recreational camping tents grew in the 1950s, and after a lot of trial and error, Jack designed and built the first Springbar Tent in 1961.

More than a half century later, we’re still here in Salt Lake City making #springbar tents, and we don’t plan to quit anytime soon.
