Campus Recreation hosted one of the more unique traditions at Illinois State University this week: crate stacking.

Students got together in the Student Fitness Center to stack as many milk crates as possible without the tower or themselves falling over.

As the number of artificial intelligence users rapidly increases, many people are not taking into consideration the overall impact it has not only on our society but also on our climate.

Generative AI creates visual graphics and audio based on patterns it learned from its larger data set. The system in use reduces the number of paying clients for graphic designers and visual media creators, and it also contributes significantly to global warming.

Illinois State University students gathered Thursday evening for a community-centered celebration hosted by the Association of Latin American Students.

The event included ornament decorating, cultural foods and the storytelling tradition of Las Posadas Navideñas. ALAS aimed to help students learn, reminisce and connect through the customs of the holiday season across Latin America.
