Xpedition's band members have earned the reputation of being one of the top tribute acts touring the United States. Xpedition by definition: A journey or voyage undertaken by a group of people with a particular purpose, especially that of exploration. - Phoenix Theatre Presents: Red Herring at Sheldon Theatre of Performing Arts 7:30pm. Three love stories, a murder mystery and a nuclear espionage plot converge in this noir comedy about marriage and other explosive devices. It's 1952: America's on the verge of the H-bomb, Dwight Eisenhower's on the campaign trail, and "I Love Lucy" is on Monday nights. Meanwhile, Senator Joe McCarthy's daughter just got engaged to a Soviet spy, and Boston detective Maggie Pelletier has to find out who dumped the dead guy in the Harbor - or else lose out on a honeymoon in Havana. - Teen Event: Crafts at Library Oasis in the Community Action Center - Northfield 3:30-4:30pm. Teens - this fall, drop by after school for bi-weekly programs at the Library Oasis (located in the NCRC building at 1651 Jefferson Parkway, within walking distance of both Northfield High and Middle schools). The first Wednesday of the month will be a drop-in craft, and the third Wednesday will be board/card games. This week you'll make mini gardens in recycled mints containers.

- Record Listening Party at Verbena Vinyl 6pm.

- Pub Night: Grimm & Cruz at Lakeville Area Arts Center 6-9pm. A dynamic duo with the tenderness of Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass and the rhythmic excitement of Tuck and Patti, Jennifer Grimm and Joe Cruz have joined forces to bring their passionate talents together on one stage. Grimm is a charismatic and nationally acclaimed vocalist and songwriter with credits including performing at New York's Carnegie Hall and having her music featured on networks such as NBC, USA and SHOWTIME. Northfield Public Library Minnesota's "Glass Half Full" Book Club meets on first Wednesdays at Imminent Brewing to have a low-stakes, casual chat about the monthly title and sip on a drink of choice. - Free Coffee Concert Featuring Artu Duo at Hastings Arts Center 10:30am. Ruth Marshall (cellist) and Garret Ross (pianist) present a classical music program. Doors open at 10am for coffee and treats and to view the current art gallery exhibit.

- Teen Tuesday: Book Club & TAB Meeting at Northfield Public Library Minnesota 4-5:30pm. Drop in any Tuesday for a casual afternoon of teen activities. This week: chat about the book of the month: "The Druid's Call" by E.K. Johnston (limited copies available on the holds shelf at the library). They'll also pass out copies of the December book club book (tbd) and choose books to read for the upcoming school year. After book club will be the monthly Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting. If you'd like to help plan events, suggest YA titles for the library's collection and promote library awareness, joining TAB may be for you.

Tune in and voyage back to the Roaring Twenties with host Kosmo Esplan plus special guests to discover the past of distilling, milling and the impact of the infamous Volstead Act on the Land of Cows, Colleges and Contentment a century ago.

- Mini-Horses: Learn & Meet at Northfield Public Library Minnesota 1-2pm. How do miniature horses differ from standard horses? When and for what were they originally bred? Learn all about the biology and care of miniature horses and meet real miniature horses, right at the library. All ages welcome.

- Puzzle Competition at Buckham Memorial Library 5-7pm. Registration required. Up to 5 people per team. Ages 16-adult. Five team limit, two hour time limit. 500-piece puzzle. Register your team at the information desk or call 507-334-2089. The team with the fewest puzzle pieces left after the time limit wins.

- Fari "BOO" Downtown Bar Crawl in downtown Faribault 7pm. Registration begins at 7pm - $12 per person. Between 7-11pm, participants must visit all four bars (Signature Bar & Grill, Our Place on Third, Boxers and the American Legion). Join hundreds of costumed crawlers this Halloween for the second annual Fari "BOO" Bar Crawl - a fundraiser for the Paradise Center for the Arts. Winners of the costume contest will be announced at 11:30pm in the Paradise auditorium. Prizes: first - $500, second - $250, third - $100. Must be 21 and older to participate in this ghoulishly fun-filled event.

- 1st Annual Northfield Metal-Fest at The Grand Event Center of Northfield 7pm. Metal-Fest is a night of live music featuring local and regional metal bands. Full lineup and details will be posted on www.thegrandnorthfield.com/events! Tickets available at the door.

- Fright at the Farm at 47385 Hwy 52 Blvd, Zumbrota 7-11pm. Rochester Horror presents Fright at the Farm, Southern Minnesota's largest haunted attraction and haunted cannabis maze.
