- Carleton College Craft Fair & Custodial Bake Sale at the Weitz Center for Creativity 8am-2pm. Carleton College's annual Craft Fair and Custodial Scholarship Bake Sale. is back. This long-standing event welcomes the entire Northfield community and beyond to shop the wares of Carleton staff and community members. The event typically hosts approximately 50 vendors. A wide variety of handcrafted items and baked goods will be available for purchase. All proceeds support the Carleton Custodial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is awarded each year to a qualified student to help pay for books, music lessons, health insurance premiums or other extra costs. Free and open to the public.

The Eclectic Strummers and Singers are a small group of seniors that get together at FiftyNorth on the first, third and fifth Wednesdays. This week, chat about the book of the month, "Divergent" by Veronica Roth (copies available on the library holds shelf) and choose books to read for the upcoming year. After book club will be the monthly Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting. If you'd like to help plan events, suggest YA titles for the library's collection and promote library awareness, joining TAB may be for you.

- Pop-Up Christmas Shoppe at Buckham West 9am-3pm. This holiday boutique is a fundraiser with all proceeds being used to support the programs and services of Buckham West. Gift items for sale will include artisan quality merchandise, handmade crafts, themed baskets and much more.

- History Happy Hour Featuring Andy Flory at Northfield Historical Society 6-7pm. Carleton College Professor of Music and Director of American Studies and author of the book "I Hear a Symphony: Motown and Crossover R&B." Doors open 5:30pm. Free admission, free will donations are appreciated.

- Beasley's Big Band & Dancing at Brianno's Chart House 7pm. Beasley's Big Band joins Courtney Burton Music for Jazz Mondays, a special night of dinner and dancing. Free dance lesson 6-7pm. The band will play 7-9pm. No cover charge.
