Congratulations to the Week 10 WCRL Player if the Week Jesson Hickman of the Southeastern Mustangs. Jesson had 6 Receptions, for 114 yards, and 2 touchdowns, he also had 6 tackles and 1 tackle for loss in a thrilling 29-28 win over Oakman. I was glad I got to present Jesson this award on Veterans Day! We are so thankful for all of our Veterans! This week the Southeastern Mustangs will host Red Bay in the 2nd round of the Class 2A AHSAA Football State Playoffs.

Congratulations to Sam Stidham of the Appalachian Eagles this week WCRL Player of the Week! Sam rushed for 215 yards and 4 touchdowns on just 10 carries. The Eagles defeated Valley Head 49-28 to secure for the first time in school history a perfect 10-0 undefeated regular season!! The Eagles will take a week off and host Shoals Christian in the first round of the AHSAA Class 1A State Playoffs on Friday November 7th.
