New aerial images taken by Bioreconstruct of demolition activity around the former Poseidon’s Fury attraction in The Lost Continent at Islands of Adventure. While the main show building remains standing, work is underway throughout the surrounding area. The walkthrough attraction permanently closed in May 2023 and has remained abandoned since. Universal Orlando is gradually closing out all of The Lost Continent as part of a major development project.

New aerial photos captured by Bioreconstruct show demolition progress on the former Eighth Voyage of Sindbad stunt show in The Lost Continent at Islands of Adventure. A significant portion of the left side of the auditorium has now been torn down. The show permanently closed in September 2018, but the structure remained standing. The Lost Continent is permanently closing in phases for a new development, but Universal has not yet announced what will replace the area.
