We are absolutely heartbroken. ONYX Magazine sends our deepest condolences to the family of actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner whose death has been confirmed. Warner, 54, was on a family vacation in Costa Rica when he apparently drowned. May he rest in peace.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner, an actor and artist who rose to fame as a child as Theodore Huxtable on “The Cosby Show,” has died, according to a source close to the actor.

During ONYX Magazine Publisher Rich Black’s recent teip to Nassau, Bahamian Deputy Governor Dr. Ruby Darlings shared a beautiful story of how she met Black before she was named the first ONYX Magazine Women on the Move International Woman on the Move. Darlings, the first woman to rgister to vote in The Bahamas after it gained independence, strongly believes in Black’s vision and knows there are many more inspirational things to come for the 28-year-old publication.
