Don’t worry all drummers do it.

On SNL season 51 finale Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers was backing musical guest, Paul McCartney. During “Band on the Run” the camera caught the stick drop and and the amazing recovery by Chad.

This post isn’t meant to throw shade at Chad but show that we all do it and how calm a pro like him doesn’t miss a beat.

One of the things from my New Year’s resolution was to get back into playing. Podcast took over my time to do this.

So I want to thank those who invite me up to jam with them like Apostli Floyd and many other musicians I’ve met through the Riffs n Rhythms podcast.

I figured if I’m doing a drum related podcast that I should actually start playing again.
