Those who need love the most are the hardest to reach.
Life is a paradox. The realization that everything we worked so hard for was a trap, is a bitter pill to swallow. But surviving that realization allows us to move forward with even more force, meaning, and wisdom than before. It allows us to be more fulfilled even if it means less money. It allows us to feel more connected even if it means less friends. It allows us to have more passion even if it means less choices. It allows us to be more respected even if it means less social status.
Internal goals reap rewards in mysterious ways. External goals buy happiness at times, but trying to control the universe is a recipe to be utterly humbled and gobsmacked by an overwhelming force. Something with truly no limits, something that is everything, everywhere, all at once.
To anyone who made it this far, we congratulate you. You are not alone. Doors are always open for you regardless of your past, present, and future choices. One genuine smile can break through the deepest wall of depression, one kind message can save a life contemplating death, one small gift of acceptance can mend the most shattered heart. A little love goes a long, long way.
